WHEN TO APPLY

Use JASEU Hair Relaxer only when you want to permanently straighten your hair—typically every 8-12 weeks for touch-ups on new growth. Never apply relaxer to previously relaxed hair, only to new growth at the roots. Best applied when hair is in good condition and hasn’t been recently colored, bleached, or chemically treated. Avoid using during or immediately after illness, hormonal changes, or periods of high stress, as these can affect results. Always perform a patch test 24-48 hours before full application. Schedule your relaxer treatment when you have adequate time (2-3 hours) and won’t be rushed. Not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding without consulting a healthcare provider first.

HOW TO USE

IMPORTANT: Read all instructions and cautions completely before starting. Perform an allergy patch test 10-20 minutes behind the ear 24-48 hours before use.

  1. Step 1 : Preparation
    After washing hair, blow-dry or towel-dry until about 70% dry. Hair should be damp but not dripping wet. Do not apply to completely dry hair.
  2. Step 2 : Sectioning
    Divide hair into three main sections. Within each section, separate hair into 3-5 thin layers. Use clips to keep sections separated. For each layer, use a comb to create fine subsections for precise application.
  3. Step 3 : Application (First Pass)
    Wearing protective gloves, gently press the comb and apply the relaxer evenly to each hair layer, starting about two (2) centimeters away from the scalp to avoid skin contact. Distribute across the entire length of each section. DO NOT comb through. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water. Gently towel-dry and apply product evenly across hair at a ratio approximately proportional to the amount used in step 3. Leave for about two (2) centimeters from the scalp. Allow it to remain on hair until completely dry. Rinse thoroughly and allow hair to air dry completely.
  4. Step 4 : Second Application
    When hair is about 70% dry, apply the hair mask evenly on the hair, avoiding contact with the scalp. Leave on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. For a sleeker and straighter result, blow-dry as the hair straightens. Use a flat iron on hair until about 70% of hair is straightened. Rinse hair thoroughly and blow-dry until hair is smooth. For best results on hair texture and shine, use a straightener (flat iron) until hair is completely smooth and straight as the final step.

Amount needed depends on hair length, thickness, and texture :

  • For short hair (chin-length or shorter): Use approximately 60-80ml.
  • For medium-length hair (shoulder-length): Use approximately 100-120ml.
  • For long hair (past shoulders): Use 150ml or more.

Thicker, coarser hair requires more product than fine hair. It’s better to have excess product available than to run out mid-application. Always apply generously enough to saturate each section completely—skimping on product leads to uneven results.
